Can't Stop, Won't Stop

"I always knew that one day, they'd try to bring me down" - Kanye West

So, yesterday I got up and started my day by moving my ibook (yes, I am patiently waiting to upgrade to a macbook, lol) out to living room so that I could go full force on my many entrepreneurial pursuits. The day was going very productive. I was able to do some planning in regards to my brand consultancy, Paragon Brand Marketing (myspace.com/paragonmarketing), as well as a couple other projects that will remain under wraps for a minute! In the middle of this, a business associate called me and among other things, expressed that I am spreading myself thin and should just focus on one thing.

Well, I will not. I won't just work on one project at a time. I am a multi-faceted person and I have to engage my many skills. I do understand that I cannot take on the whole world all at once, but if I only work on one thing - am I really goin hard in 08? I don't think so.

I won't be held back this year, even by those who feel they have my best interest at heart. We are only 6 days into the new year and I am already getting things rolling with new prospects, collaborations, and business initiatives. Today at church, Pastor Murphy stated that in 08 we have to be obedient, consistent, have faith, and be focused. I think those are words to live by and I won't be applying it to just one thing, but to many things! So the moral of the story is don't let anyone dictate or interfere with the goals you set for yourself, period.
