The New Nino Brown

I was surprised to read this story on CNN.com this morning, since so often when it comes to reporting negative stories in regards to fraternities and sororities, they focus on African-American organizations. It seems that instead of promoting philanthropy and brotherhood, Theta Chi fraternity in San Diego has been pushing that "white girl." After a drug bust on the Theta Chi house that produced Two kilograms of cocaine, 350 Ecstasy pills, marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms, hashish oil, methamphetamine, illicit prescription drugs, several guns and at least $60,000 in cash, close to 30 individuals were taken in to custody by the San Diego Police.


Taking a page out of Detroit Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick's book, these frat guys were text messaging messages out to clients about cocaine "sales". How dumb can you be? Messages such as, "Attn faithful customers both myself and my associates will be in Vegas this coming weekend," the 19-year-old student wrote in the text message, according to the DEA. "So stock up, we will be back Sunday night." Police were tipped off when two separate cocaine overdose deaths occurred in frat houses on San Diego State University. I thought it was Jeezy the Snowman, not Johnny! (Couldn't help myself - I had to get a one-liner in there, LoL) Let's see if this story gets as much national attention as we know it would if the dudes in question were brothas.
