History Making Hov

It's been about three months since Noel Gallager, lead singer of the band Oasis, said, "I'm not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It's wrong." This was Gallager's reaction to the announcement of Jay-Z being announced as one of the performers at the Glastonbury Festival in England.

On a stage usually reserved for rock bands like Oasis, Jay-Z was the first rap act to ever perform at Glastonbury. In addition, he was the headliner, performing on the final day of the festival.

From the reviews I've read, Mr. Carter shut it down. Every person in the audience knew every lyric to every song. One fan, who experienced the festival for the first time, called Hov's performance, "brilliant."

Check out the video to watch Jay open the show performing Oasis', Wonderwall.
