iPhone or iGlitch ???

So, I am in the market for a new cell phone. I have been a hostage of the monthly circus that calls itself Sprint Nextel for the past six years due to my inability to resist having the latest phone available. Well, for the past year or so I have not upgraded my cellular and now I am in the position to be freed from my bondage - i mean contract, LoL. So when thinking about what phone/service provider I should transition to, I realized that I have a broken iPod that haunts me daily and in an effort to kill the proverbial two birds with one stone, I came to the determination that I will be getting an iPhone.

Well, today Businessweek.com reports that many iPhone users are quite unhappy with the service of their iPhone. Citing a high percentage of dropped calls, inability to access the highly publicized 3G network and inoperative mobile applications, iPhone users are not happy at all, sparking rumors of a potential class action suit against Apple. Sources say Apple is attributing the glitches to a chip inside the cell phone. The sources add that Apple plans to cure the problems through a software upgrade.

Ain't this 'bout a ... Right when I finally decided I could deal with the iPhone not having a Qwerty keyboard and the notion of having to text on a touch screen - Apple had to get caught up in a scandal !!! As much as I feel I should steer clear of all this glitch sh*t, I really need a new iPod and since I am in the market for a cell phone too, I will still be getting an iPhone. The only good thing is my contract isn't up until next month, so Steve Jobs better have all this confusion worked out by then. Hope this doesn't come back to haunt me!
