Yeah, I'm feeling just about everything on this one. I'm even starting to like her funny hairdo. She was out here in Portland last month, I heard she was amazing. Mad I wasn't able to check her out myself. I will definitly be BUYING her album. lol
ReplyDeleteVery "Outkast-ish"...I immediately invisioned her in that one video that they did (the really animated one).
ReplyDeleteHowever, I must say I'm impressed with the caliber of African American/ethnic female artists coming out recently...From santogold to Janelle to Estelle...they all seem to be offering something we haven't really seen yet (or just in a different way).
What do you guys think?
