Government Cheese: GM & Chrysler Edition

GM & Chrysler are back up to their antics, asking the government for more bread. The struggling auto-makers asked for an additional $14 billion, with both companies suggesting that additional money may be necessary.

To make matters worse, more jobs will be cut. GM is eliminating 47,000 jobs globally, and Chrysler is cutting 3,000 jobs and three different vehicle models; the PT Cruiser, the Dodge Aspen, and the Dodge Durango. GM is also considering eliminating the entire Saturn brand.

When is it time to just file for bankruptcy?
