NASA is Ready For Take-Off

NASA announced yesterday (3/6) that space shuttle Discovery is scheduled for launch in five days. Discovery will be lifting off to the International Space Station on Wednesday, March 11th at 9:20 p.m. ET. Discovery's 14-day mission will include four spacewalks. The Discovery also will carry a replacement for a failed unit in a system that converts urine to drinkable water.

NASA said its managers have completed a readiness review for Discovery, which will be making the 28th shuttle mission to the ISS. Our prayers go out for the safe exploration and return of Commander Lee Archambault and his six crewmates.
