Terror on the Metro

CNN reports that Washington D.C. experienced the deadliest crash in the history of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority, known as Metro, this afternoon. Two trains crashed on the above ground track around 5 p.m. Seventy-six people were injured, 2 people suffered critical injuries and 6 were killed in the crash. Amy Kudwa of the Department of Homeland Security said "at this early stage," there was no indication of anything other than an accidental collision." This is only the second collision in the history of the Metro. The last crash occurred in 1982.

Our Prayers go out to those involved in the crash on the Metro this afternoon.
