Now Sarah Palin Is Pissing Off Republicans

Two days after announcing her resignation, conservatives are looking for an explanation to why Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin stepped down with less than 2 years remaining in her term. Many Republican party members are saying they're astounded by her decision, and some have gone on to call her a quitter.

While some speculate that Palin resigned to free up time to prepare for a possible 2012 Republican presidential nomination, others believe that she has abandoned the Alaskan voters who expected her to serve out her full term. Palin, however, complained that her and her family were still being unfairly "attacked" by mainstream media sources, and that too much time and too many tax dollars were being put into her fight against the ongoing ethics investigations against her.

Personally, I think something shady was about to be revealed and she wanted to get out while she could still save face. It doesn't make sense to me that someone trying to get away from the spotlight would do so with the intention of running for president in a few years. It also doesn't make sense to me that someone who intends to run for president would leave a political office and risk losing credibility and political relevance prior to trying to convince people she can lead the country.

Something fishy is going on in Alaska, and Sarah Palin just Nino Browned her way out of the Cash Money Brothers organization before it was too late.
