This may or may not be completely regional and directed to the Detroit and surrounding midwest area trends that popped up in the earlier part of the decade (and if you still live in Detroit the Al Wissam's are probably still coming out the closet in the winter), so my apologies if you have no opinion on the matter.
But to those folks in the know, tell us which trend was Doper: The Race Car Jackets (M&M's, Target, Pepsi, Tide, etc.) or the Al Wissam leather Jackets (with or without the fur)???
Let the voting begin!

But shout out to them race car jackets...I had em all. Extra shout out to the asshole who stole my pepsi one out my locker. When I see you it's curtains for you!

lmao @ Ant...and I'm wit Joi..."Al Wizzie's" fa sho! LOL
LMAO ANT!!! Stuuupid. Seeing as how the race car jacket fad lasted all of one semester, I'ma have to go with the Al Wizzies!!!! They are def embedded in the Detroit urban fashion culture...dudes in the A still be rocking them race car jackets to this day. LOL
Race Car jackets are suspect, and honestly if you're over 25 you shouldnt even own one. Al Wissam leathers are okay (i have the G.O.A.T / Muhammad Ali Jacket they did with Adidas) but some of the designs are corny.
